Multifunctional MFT template
With the MaKoen MFT template 3.0 you can modify your multifunction table in a multifunctional way. With or without a guide bushing.
The Ø20mm version lets you work panels with small handheld tools using a straight cutter with guide bearing or a Forstner bit.
The Ø30mm version is designed for routers with a guide bushing.
From the 96mm hole grid with 18x Ø20mm holes, to corner radii (10-20-30-50) and the angled slot for clamps, you can customize your multifunction table individually.
With the MFT template 3.0 you can still choose the edge distance yourself - accurate to the millimeter - or in inches.
The scale laser-engraved on the back is available as a mm scale and an inch scale.
Accuracy:
All holes are reamed after routing. This achieves accuracy to tolerance class H11.

Application
Routing radii
Using the 10x Ø6mm holes for stop dowels, the template can be positioned flush to the outer edges of your panel.
- insert 6mm dowels
- place the template on the corner to be routed
- clamp the template securely
- use a straight cutter with guide bearing (or a flush trim bit) to route the desired radius
Routing slots
You can choose between a straight or an angled slot. Both slots have a width of 30mm.
Dimensions:

(the slots can be extended to any length by repositioning)
Placing the slots:
After completing the hole grid, you can add the slots if needed.
- select the desired combination
- Align the template using the BenchDogs
- route the contours
- A1 = slot overlaps the hole grid
- A2 = slot sits between the hole grid
- B1 = angled slot overlaps the hole grid
- B2 = angled slot sits between the hole grid
- C1 = slot at 45° for extending
- C2 = slot at 45° overlaps a centered hole
Routing / drilling the hole grid
The template has 18 Ø20mm / Ø30mm holes arranged in a 96mm grid.
You can place the template freely on the panel or set the edge distance from 0-292mm using the 3 adjustable aluminum stops.
The set measurement of the MFT template 3.0 shows the final distance. It is not necessary to compensate for the pin.
- position the template
- clamp the template securely
- transfer using a Forstner bit or flush trim bit
- release the template
- expand as desired
